Organ Recital at Saint Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church
New York, NY

Assistant Organist of St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, Eddie Zheng, will present a celebratory organ recital honoring the recent restoration of the church’s historic instrument, including the replacement of its keyboards and the restoration of the 16′ Soubasse pedal stop. The program will include Bach’s Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland chorales (BWV 659–661), Wagner’s Liebestod transcribed for the organ by Edwin Lemare, and Liszt’s monumental Ad nos ad salutarem undam.

Admission is free, with a suggested freewill offering in support of the continued restoration of the organ, specifically the 16′ Montre pedal stop, the final phase of the instrument’s renewal.
